Went out tonight with a friend on his Bonnie. covered approx 40 miles. After owning a Harley (and before anyone shoots me down I still love Harley's) But............ I have to say the VTX is like a Rolls Royce version in comparison to my old Harley.

A real pleasure to ride. Nice gearbox, you can see out of the mirrors at all speeds, loads of grunt, and a very comfortable ride and riding position.

Really really pleased with it.

Hopefully get to meet some of you guys soon.

Steve,

A few of us are trundling over to Cambs on the 7th a bike show. There is a thread all about this in ride out section. If you're free, you are more than welcome to join us.

Really sorry I had other things on this weekend. Please keep me updated on any rideouts or even any evening meets and I will try to get along. I have started to realise just how rare our bikes are. I have never ever seen another one in my town. Certainly not as common as the Harley!

Cookie, I notice you are from Staffs. I got my bike from a guy in Staffordshire, a small village called Freehay near Uttoxeter.
